Answer:
An Alarm Registration is valid for a registration period not to exceed two years, expiring on December 31st of the second year. This registration period is pre-determined and is the same two-year period for all alarm users.

Question:
What happens if I do not renew my permit?
Answer:
If you do not renew your permit, your alarm system will be considered unpermitted and will be subject to additional fees. Late payments will incur an additional fee.
Question:
Can my alarm registration be suspended?
Answer:
Yes, The alarm administrator may suspend any alarm permit upon the occurrence of any of the following conditions:

The alarm user has reported six (6) false alarms within the Registration period.

There is a false statement of a material fact in the application for a permit

The alarm user has failed to make timely payment of any fees assessed.

The permit application is otherwise incomplete.

I've become suspended, how do I reinstate my permit?
Answer:
A person whose Alarm Registration has been suspended may have the registration reinstated if the person:

Pays a reinstatement fee of $25.00.

Pays or resolves all outstanding charges and fees.

Provides documentation of alarm inspection by their alarm company.
